How scalable is the Smart Drinking Ambassadors program?

As the alcohol customer journey shifts toward a decentralized-customer-experience, brands are increasingly reliant on venue operators and bartenders to execute the final consumption ritual. To ensure alignment with its moderation initiatives, Asahi utilizes an in-house qualification system to train venue staff as smart-drinking-ambassadors.

Open Question: Given the notoriously high turnover rates in the global hospitality industry, how scalable is this ambassador program? Can a brand sustainably maintain a highly educated, brand-aligned frontline workforce when the staff themselves are employed by third-party venue operators?

Further research is needed to determine the ROI of this training and whether digital or automated education tools are being deployed to supplement in-person qualification.
