Peroni Nastro Azzurro is a premium Italian beer brand. It was acquired by asahi-group-holdings in 2016 (alongside Grolsch and Meantime) from anheuser-busch-inbev for €2.3 billion.

The brand is a critical component of Asahi’s European strategy, which emphasizes a premiumization focus—expanding global premium brands to drive higher margins in mature markets where overall alcohol volume may be declining.
